Evolution

Hello technofriends! I'm here again.

   This time I present to you "Evolution", 38º Electronic Music Universe, a Techno set with certain nuances of Detroit Techno.

  "Evolution" was born from the idea of ​​capturing in a set, the evolution of Techno in which we currently find ourselves. Personally, as you already know, my thing is Techno but from its deepest aspect to its hardest branch, passing through its new influences and without forgetting its nostalgic aspects.

   Although, I appreciate that what has always been called Techno is currently beginning to move away from certain fundamental nuances. I think that they neither mix nor bring up topics like they did before, I don't mean better or worse, but rather they begin to differ quite a bit due to many factors and that is good, evolution is what makes us human, it is the law of Life and Techno could not ignore this fundamental law but without losing that nostalgia and magic of this musical genre that captivates so many people.

I was born in 82 but I have studied, listened to and investigated Techno since its beginnings. Obviously, that pioneering and nostalgic Techno of the first creators of this is very different from what is heard... or not.

That's where I wanted to investigate because I get the same emotion with a good song from the late 70's as with a song from now, however, I appreciate that the Techno of today is much more lacking in rhythm, that which moves you. alone, but it is also richer. I consider it more complex in its construction and content, although too commercialized, at times, very far from Underground, that adjective that has always accompanied Techno and is essential to respect.

   All said as a general rule, with the utmost respect and in my humble opinion since there are always great exceptions, thank goodness!

   For all this, I wanted to make a set with a Techno that sounds, always in my opinion, like current Techno but without losing that purity and nostalgia of the always Techno. It is difficult to capture this in a selection and in mixing techniques but I have tried, I hope you like the result.

   I have studied, worked and produced this set with a lot of effort and enthusiasm to transmit that essence with which Techno has delighted us, delights us, will delight us and that cannot be lost due to the commercialization and simplicity that current times offer us.
